Food is an essential part of life—not just for energy and exotic flavors, but as a unifier during social events, a focal point for establishing culture, and shared experience to put people at ease. In GALACTIC STEW, readers will sit down at the communal table and sup upon stories centered on food. Whether it’s a tense treaty negotiation over a full course meal or a trap devised by the fae to chain you to their realm, these stories are certain to be delectable. Come and savor these delicacies…and hope the taste doesn’t mask a deadly poison!

A thwarted female defense attorney releases the baying of the hounds under a full moon, signaling the death of an era—and the birth of a new one under the Old Gods.
Most funerals are celebrations for the living—unless the guests decide to tempt fate and the guest of honor.
A bicycle ride becomes a contest of egos, but the male pursuers aren’t the only ones hungry for the race to end.
These women are going to cut the world and let it bleed.
Death. Magic. Darkness.
A veil can hide many things.
A person’s face to conceal their identity, for instance.
Or another world, unlike the mundane one we exist in,
the world we think we know so well.
In this edition of the JordanCon Anthology, authors and
artists look Beyond the Veil…
it could be the veil of darkness that they look past,
or that of magic.
These talented contributors lift the corner of the veil
between worlds for us to see what can’t easily get in.
They even remove the veil between life and death.
Feast your eyes and minds on our incredible collection of
art and stories.
Hopefully it will move you, make you stop and think,
and touch your very soul.
Perhaps it may even frighten you a little bit.
This is a limited-edition anthology and proceeds of
all sales will benefit the JordanCon Charity.
